L V Films Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 2026

Acceptance of Terms & Legal Framework

By accessing lvfilms.in and engaging with our services, you (the "Client") enter into a legally binding agreement with L V Films, a Proprietorship registered under Vinoth Kumar. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and establish the framework for all creative, pre-production, production, and post-production engagements. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.

Services, Quotations & Estimates

L V Films provides premium multi-disciplinary services including creative direction, CGI, ad filmmaking, music video production, and corporate design strategy.

All quotations, cost estimates, and production schedules provided to the Client are strictly valid for the duration specified on the document. Estimates are based on the initial project brief; any subsequent changes to the scope of work: including additional shoot days, talent changes, or extended post-production iterations: will be subject to revised costing and require written approval before execution.

Payment Terms & Milestones

The financial structure of film production requires immediate allocation of capital for crew, talent, studio space, and equipment. Therefore, L V Films strictly enforces milestone-based payment schedules.

Work shall commence only upon receipt of the agreed advance payment. For production-based projects involving physical filming, L V Films requires up to 75% to 80% of the total project value to be cleared prior to the commencement of principal filming and physical production.

Final deliverables, source files, and usage rights will be withheld until all outstanding invoices are paid in full. All invoices are subject to applicable taxes, including GST, in accordance with Indian law. Delays in payment may result in suspension of services, production activities, project timelines, and final delivery until outstanding amounts are cleared.

Intellectual Property & Copyright Laws

L V Films places significant importance on protecting its intellectual property and creative assets. Under the Copyright Act, 1957, L V Films retains sole ownership of all original creative concepts, pitch presentations, scripts, storyboards, and production methodologies shared during the inquiry or pitching phase. Submission of a proposal does not constitute a transfer of copyright.

Upon full and final payment of the project invoice, the Client is granted the specific usage licenses and distribution rights detailed in the Project Agreement. L V Films retains the right to use the final deliverables for portfolio, promotional, and industry award purposes unless a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is executed prior to commencement. We do not release raw footage, project files, or unedited materials unless explicitly negotiated and licensed.

Portfolio Materials & Third-Party Rights

Certain portfolio projects, images, videos, films, and production materials displayed on this website may represent work undertaken by Lenin Vinod and associated collaborators in various professional capacities, including but not limited to Filmmaker, Director, Executive Producer, Creative Producer, Senior Creative Producer, Line Producer, and Assistant Director. Ownership and intellectual property rights for such projects may remain with the respective production companies, agencies, studios, clients, broadcasters, labels, or other rights holders.

Such materials are displayed solely for portfolio, credit, professional showcase, and experience demonstration purposes. All trademarks, logos, brand names, and copyrighted materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Where applicable, L V Films claims ownership only over materials specifically created, commissioned, or licensed to L V Films and does not claim ownership over third-party intellectual property.

Project Approvals & Timelines

Cinematic excellence requires structured collaboration. L V Films will submit work at designated milestones (e.g., storyboard approval, offline edit, color grade, final mix). The Client must provide consolidated feedback, approvals, required materials, access, and project-related information within the agreed timeframe. Delays in approvals, feedback, asset delivery, access, or decision-making may result in corresponding adjustments to production schedules, delivery timelines, and project costs. Requests for fundamental changes after a milestone has been approved may incur additional charges, editing day rates, holding fees, and timeline extensions.

Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

While L V Films strives to deliver all services to a professional standard, we shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from project delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control. This includes extreme weather, sudden talent unavailability, catastrophic equipment failure, or government-mandated lockdowns (Force Majeure). In such events, we will work in good faith to reschedule and execute the production at the earliest feasible date.

Project-Specific Agreements

For project-specific terms, payment schedules, ownership rights, usage rights, confidentiality obligations, deliverables, timelines, and commercial arrangements, the executed quotation, estimate, proposal, statement of work, purchase order, or project agreement shall prevail over these Terms & Conditions to the extent of any inconsistency.

Governing Law, Arbitration & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions, along with all formal Project Agreements, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or any production contract, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it amicably. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration and exclusive legal jurisdiction for all matters shall be the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
